Hi, I’m Stephanie.

Stephanie Leon, MA, LPCC

A few things about me:

  • Can’t function without my morning chai.

  • I own 50+ houseplants. Not sure how it happened.

  • Love my nature walks (one time I almost got run over by a moose).

  • IVF warrior.

  • HSP who loves scary movies. I know, it’s strange.

  • Proud daughter of an immigrant.

  • Born and raised in Colorado. Terrified of mountain driving.

You’re not quite sure that anyone will get you.

It’s so hard to find a therapist you can spill your guts to. And reaching out just feels so awkward! So you think to yourself, “Maybe another day.”

But deep down you know you needed a therapist, like yesterday.

I’ll be honest with you. It' might be scary at first. You might dread that initial session. But soon you’ll find that it feels kinda nice to sit across from someone who cares. We’ll share some laughs and some ugly cries, too. You’ll start to feel like you have someone in your corner, rooting for you.

Here’s what you’ll get when you work with me:

I can’t promise you any magic cures, but I can promise that I will care deeply about your happiness and healing. As time goes on, you’ll notice that the day-to-day feels more manageable. You’ll pick up little tools and make small changes along the way, and one day you’ll notice that all these small changes led to something bigger. You’ll feel more you than you ever have. The pain you carried from the past will start to feel lighter. You’ll feel empowered to ask for what you need in your relationships and at ease knowing that there’s someone in your corner when times get tough.

What you bring to the table.

Does this sound like you?

You are motivated to do the work and dig deep in session. You show up with a list of all the topics you want to discuss. You take time to think about our sessions afterwards because you know that a lot of the work happens outside too! You feel ready to make some changes and invest in your own well-being. Above all else, you want to know you’re cared for.

If you answered “yes” to the above, then we’ll get along great.

Here’s what makes me qualified:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology - University of Colorado Boulder

  • Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling - University of Colorado Denver

  • Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate- Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.

  • Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP)- Evergreen Certifications
